Yesterday was the FINAL day in the week of the bachelor.

Well, technically it wasn’t a full day. Just until about 11:45 am. But it was long enough.

Yesterday, Desi came home! I was so glad to finally see her. It’s been a very long week without her.

Today was quite lame.

I worked the shack and sat around the house.

Literally, that’s it.

Today, I REALLY started missing Desi. It’s not that I haven’t missed her all week; it’s just worse today. Maybe it’s because I know that she gets home tomorrow. Maybe it’s because of the things God has been stirring in our hearts. [...]

So I have now survived 5 full days as a bachelor!

I never really thought I’d make it this far. It hasn’t been easy, but I’d like to thank all my supporters and everyone who ever believed in me!

Anyways, Day 5 was a crazy busy day.

Seeing as how it was Wednesday, it was my 1 day [...]

Today was much like the past 3… Boring.

I got up, did some Crossroads work, mainly doing some booking for the band.

Had a hot dog and Dorito’s for lunch with a sweet tea.

Went to work at the shack, where I had a turkey sandwich and some nachos with more sweet tea.

Sat around at work for 5 [...]

As most of you know, today was Memorial Day.

Not for me.

To make it worse, the only thing that was coming in on the tv was the NASCAR race. If you know me, you know that didn’t last too long.

I have been so tired all day.

Sundays are always long for me anyways.

I have to be out the door at 5:30am to get to Crossroads by 6:30. I didn’t actually fall asleep till almost 1:00 last night, so I’ve been struggling all day. Well, not all day. This morning was great, despite getting up early. [...]

This is basically what happened during Week of the Bachelor: Day 1, sitting on the couch with Riley watching tv.

I didn’t leave the house for a single second all day. In fact, I’m still in the clothes I slept in last night. I don’t think I even put deoderant on this morning. [...]
